Lucca<\/strong> is one of the main art cities of Italy, famous also outside the national borders especially for its intact city walls of the XV-XVII century, which describes a perimeter of 4.450 m around to the historical core of the city and makes it one of the 4 provincial capitals of the Italian province to have an intact city wall, together with Ferrara, Grosseto, Bergamo.<\/p>\n

The same circle, already transformed from the second half of the nineteenth century into a pleasant pedestrian promenade, is still one of the best preserved in Europe, as never before used in the past for defensive purposes.<\/p>\n<\/div>
